Welcome to finMend! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile application, learning management system (LMS), and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using finMend, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using our services.

1. Who We Are

finMend is an educational and financial knowledge platform that provides online courses, coaching, training programs, and related services.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase courses on finMend.
  • If you are under 18, you may use finMend only with the active involvement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who must accept these Terms on your behalf.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for monitoring the use of the Platform by minors and ensuring compliance with these Terms.
  • By allowing a minor to use finMend, the parent/guardian agrees to be fully responsible for the child's activities on the Platform, including any purchases made.

3. Use of Our Services

  • You may use FinMend only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.
  • You agree not to misuse the Platform, including but not limited to:
    • Copying, redistributing, or selling our content without authorization.
    • Interfering with system security or attempting unauthorized access.
    • Posting misleading, harmful, or illegal content.

4. Content Intellectual Property

  • All courses, training material, videos, documents, and other content on FinMend are owned by FinMend or its faculty/partners.
  • You receive a limited, non-transferable license to access and use this content for personal learning only.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize our content without written consent.

5. Payments & Refunds

  • Course fees, subscription plans, and other charges will be displayed at checkout.
  • Payments are processed through trusted third-party providers.
  • If a student is not satisfied with the classes, they must inform FinMend within 3 days of attending the classes.
  • In such cases, the student may cancel the course and receive a full refund of the amount paid.
  • No refund requests will be entertained after the 3-day intimation period.
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7 working days.

6. Faculty Partner Contributions

  • Faculty are independent providers; their content and opinions are their own.
  • FinMend is not liable for faculty's views, teaching methods, or outcomes.
  • Faculty must comply with our Faculty Terms & Conditions.

8. Disclaimers

  • FinMend provides educational content and does not guarantee specific outcomes such as job placements or certifications unless explicitly mentioned.
  • We are not liable for financial or business decisions you make based on our content.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • FinMend will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
  • Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service/course in question.

10. Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
  • You may close your account anytime.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Palakkad, Kerala.

12. Changes to Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time.
  • Continued use of FinMend after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

4. Protection of Student & Faculty Data

  • Students and faculty must not misuse or share each other's data obtained through the Platform.
  • Faculty are strictly prohibited from using student data for personal or commercial purposes outside of FinMend.
